Boxing Club Rules
“I think a boxing club is good for any town. It teaches the values of life.”

Ludlow Amateur Boxing Club
November 2018
Devised from interviews with boxing club and community members, the action took place all around the boxing club — the bags, the equipment and in the ring. It brought together acting, music, dance and real boxing moves in a moving, funny, dramatic and inspiring production.
Supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
“I loved it; such a totally different concept to anything I've seen before. It was brilliant. Takes me back a bit myself, being an amateur boxer years ago. It was so good and so true to life some of the stories, so similar to my boxing club.”
“I thought it was fantastic, it was humorous, witty and warm, it's got that humanity which is what boxing clubs are about, it's not all about violence and you've got the message here very strong, really entertaining.”
“It was good yeh. The bit I most liked was the fight on the bags.”
