Keeping it local

Our production of Shakespeare's comic masterpiece The Comedy of Errors is making great progress. After the recruitment of our first set of twins - terriers Gabby and Emmy, who grace our poster and flyers - we have assembled a brilliant cast of local to Ludlow professional and amateur actors. We have been delighted with the quality of acting talent within the area and now have a team of actors with spirit and energy, ready to take on one of Shakespeare's most vibrant comedies.

All live within 30 miles of Ludlow, some in the town, some on the rural outskirts, others in Church Stretton, Knighton, Hereford and Bromyard. They have not been entirely local in their activities though - recent achievements include getting into the National Youth Theatre and appearing in the BBC's recent Jamaica Inn (and not mumbling!).

The Comedy of Errors runs from Monday 30th June to Saturday 5th July, 7.30 at Ludlow Brewery. Tickets are available online and by phone through Ludlow Assembly Rooms who are selling a range of Ludlow Fringe tickets. Or come down on the night and pay at the door – we will always try to fit you in.
