We're delighted to announce our cast for Hamlet, performing 9th to 17th June at Ludlow Brewery.
Hamlet is being played by Daniel Wilby who was the mesmeric Ariel in The Tempest (pictured below). He's joined by other performers from last year including Peter Gillham as Claudius and Liz Howard as Gertrude. Morgan Rees-Davies, who was the magnificent Prospero, is bringing out his younger side as Laertes and Ian Seddon, who played Caliban, will be more conventionally attired as Horatio while Ewan Gibb, the kilted Gonzalo, will be Polonius.
We're very pleased to have two new actors joining us: Poppy Wilde as Ophelia and Skye Witney who'll be alongside directors Simon and Paul as mortuary attendants!
At under two hours, our production will be shorter than the average Hamlet and we hope, as a result, more exciting and compelling, with the best of the plot and characters and a superb cast to drive the story and wield the language.
Tickets - £15 full price, £12 students and under 18s – are available online or from Ludlow Assembly Rooms by phone on 01584 878141, or in person at 1 Mill Street, Ludlow, SY8 1AZ.
